Lisa Compo

Lisa Compo is a Ph.D. student in State University of New York at Binghamton’s creative writing program. She obtained her Master of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has received several nominations for the Pushcart award and Best of the Net. She has poems forthcoming or recently published in journals such as Colorado Review, EPOCH, Arts & Letters, Chicago Quarterly Review, and elsewhere. She is also the social media manager for The Shore.
Lisa Compo will be at the Toyota Narrative Stage as part of Young Rockstar Poets offer Fresh Perspectives on Poetry and Po-Biz. Acclaimed young poets Sarah Brockhaus and Lisa Compo will share poems and discuss with Poet Laureate Nancy Mitchell how radically the landscape of writing and publishing poetry has changed in the technological age, particularly since the rise of social media.
