Wes Davis
Artist featured on Locals Stage sponsored by Salisbury University and the Fulton School of Liberal Arts at Salisbury University.
Wes Davis, originally from Dover, Delaware, currently resides in Salisbury, Maryland, and performs at popular music venues throughout Delmarva and beyond. He is a fixture in the Ocean City music scene. His influences are rock, blues and gospel, and his compositions and vocals are soulful and heartfelt.
As a songwriter, he ranges in genre from prog rock to pop to modern classical, exploring themes of love, loss and spiritual longing. In December 2023, Wes composed and released a single titled “Reach” – new, original, instrumental music on piano (Wes Davis) and violin (Christopher Sajadi).
For his festival performance, he brings together some of the most respected musicians in the area to deliver fresh, energetic renditions of his songs. Wes will be joined by David Waters (drums), Austin Smith (bass), Nalan Lokey (guitar) and Christopher Sajadi (guitar and violin).
