Born in Cockburn Pen and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Lenny grew up surrounded by some of the island’s most celebrated reggae artists. This vibrant environment fueled his early dreams of mastering the genre, and he’s since become known for his sultry, soulful voice and magnetic stage presence. From his early days on dancehall sound systems to leading award-winning reggae bands in the U.S., Lenny’s musical journey has been marked by passion, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to roots reggae.

Now based in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore metro area, Kurlou Reggae Allstars blends authentic Jamaican rhythms with fresh energy and tight musicianship. The band features Donovan Marks on bass, Leslie James on drums, Lloyd Shirley on keyboards, and Julian Lofton on guitar—each member bringing decades of experience and deep musical roots to the stage.
