Maryland Folk Festival to have delayed start Saturday, Sept. 23
In the interest of safety, we regret to inform you that the start of the Maryland Folk Festival schedule on Saturday will be delayed due to inclement weather conditions, specifically heavy rain and strong winds. The safety and well-being of all attendees, performers, and staff are our utmost priority; therefore, we will look to begin Saturday’s festivities at 3 p.m. rather than our regularly scheduled noon start. Shows scheduled to begin after 3 p.m. are planned to go on.
We are actively monitoring the situation and are committed to resuming the festival as soon as weather conditions improve.
